Three chunks of White Horse turquoise, pale as a desert dawn and stacked like they rolled off a canyon ledge, bezel-set in 925 sterling silver that's already got that "been through a dust storm" patina. Fixed at size 7, light enough to forget it's there until it catches the light and reminds you the West's wild heart beats even in the surf's shadow.

Wild Horse and 925 Sterling Silver

“Wild Horse” (sometimes called Wild Horse Turquoise) is actually a magnesite stone mined in Arizona (often near Globe or the Kingman area). It’s not true turquoise, but it’s marketed under that name because of the striking brown, red, and cream matrix that looks a lot like the wild patterns in high-end Royston or Kingman turquoise. Jewelers love it for the dramatic, almost painterly look, and it’s way more affordable than real turquoise of the same visual punch.

So in short:

  • Looks like crazy-expensive turquoise
  • Is actually magnesite
  • Still 100% legit Southwestern swagger

That’s why you’ll see it called “Wild Horse Turquoise” on most sites — it’s just jewelry shorthand for “this rock is wild as hell.”
